Zoom App Integration Documentation
1. Adding the App
- Login to The Great Discovery and open the admin dashboard.
- Click "Create Post" and choose “Zoom Room.”
- Authorize the app via Zoom's OAuth screen.
- Configure your meeting and submit.
- Zoom meeting is now embedded and visible within your dashboard.

2. Using the App
- Launch meetings within The Great Discovery, no need to open Zoom directly.
- Meetings include full Zoom features: chat, screen share, video/audio.
- Meetings are tied to the authenticated user’s Zoom account.
3. Removing the App
- Log in to your Zoom account at zoom.us.
- Navigate to “Added Apps” via Manage → App Marketplace.
- Search for "The Great Discovery" and click “Remove.”
After Removal: Access tokens are deleted. Meeting data remains in our system for your internal reference only and will not sync with Zoom anymore.

4. Troubleshooting
- OAuth Failed: Ensure you're using the correct Zoom account with admin privileges.
- Meeting Not Loading: Check browser pop-up settings or ad blockers.
5. FAQ
- Will Zoom meetings work if I uninstall the app? No, embedded Zoom meeting functionality will stop.
- Is my data safe? Yes, we never share or sell user data. All access is token-based and encrypted.
