For a very long time I have slowed my productivity with procrastination. Matt's tips in this course are helpful and clearly identify ways to overcome this blockage. I consider myself a positive thinker however I never thought of procrastination being due to fearing the outcome! Thank you Mr. Matt DiMaio, great course!
I truly enjoyed this lesson and found it to be exactly what I needed. As someone who became a full-time caretaker while still holding onto goals and dreams for myself and my family, I’ve often struggled with feelings of overwhelm. The section on multi-tasking really hit home for me. For a long time, I wore multi-tasking like a badge of honor — juggling three, four, sometimes even six tasks at once. But eventually, it caught up with me. I found myself burned out, exhausted, and doing nothing at all felt like the only relief. That’s when guilt crept in, and I began to question whether I wanted my dreams badly enough. Slowly, I lost focus and the ability to concentrate on anything. The surgical example shared in this lesson was powerful and perfectly illustrated why multi-tasking doesn’t work. The reminder that the human brain simply isn’t designed for high-efficiency multi-tasking was a wake-up call for me. It made me reflect on how dangerous “all or nothing” thinking can be. Phrases like “It’s do or die” or “It’s all or nothing” only increase pressure and set us up for burnout. This lesson helped me to reframe those beliefs and gave me practical tools to stay focused and consistent. Be mindful of the words you tell yourself — they shape your mindset and your outcomes. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to finally break free from overwhelm and move forward with clarity and purpose!
Simple but straightforward and actionable concepts.
