I resonated deeply with Robert’s course — both personally and professionally. As a nurse who has spent my life working in my passion zone, I’ve seen firsthand how unspoken hurt can fracture families and leave us wondering what we could have done differently. My daughter and I have lived through that same silence in adulthood, and it is a heartbreaking waste of precious time. I wholeheartedly support Robert’s model and pray for healing in relationships that once brought such joy. With age and experience comes the responsibility to stay humble, keep learning, and remember that nothing can replace the true DNA of our own children — the ones we are still so proud of. Robert didn’t use the cliché about “drinking poison and expecting the other person to die,” but the truth remains: unprocessed emotions don’t make us toxic — they make us human. Fractured relationships are not signs of wishing harm. But if resentment or anger has taken root, that is the moment to look honestly into the mirror of our soul and ask God for insight, help with others who can provide more insight as we stand together in the mirror and support each other in taking positive action steps for healing.
