The Branding Evangelist
WOMEN OF COLOR FACE UNIQUE
BUSINESS CHALLENGES
The trailer that accompanies this program shows an image of me with Stedman Graham - a friend, brilliant management & marketing consultant, and collaborator who also happens to be Oprah's long-time beau. It meant a lot to me when he said I am "the best branding man in the world" (although a bit of an exagerration but I'll take it :)
Stedman and I talk a lot about the struggles of Black women and women of color, in general, around the world. Particularly those who are small business owners and entrepreneurs. For many Christian women of color, building a business is not just about strategy — it is about carrying a calling, navigating visibility, and leading with both faith and strength in a world that does not always make space for their full authority.
THIS IS NOT A TALK ABOUT
LOGOS, GRAPHIC IMAGES, OR
SELF- PROMOTION
With warmth, humor, and deep respect, in this 53-minute audio program I share that excellence alone is not enough; divine clarity, structure, and positioning are what protect influence and accelerate growth. I invite "my sisters of color" to rethink what branding truly means.
They are divinely designed and guided to define themselves before the market defines them, to speak from conviction rather than comparison, and to lead without apology in the assignment God has given them.
A TURNING POINT FOR THOSE WHO
ARE READY TO RISE NOW!
Through stories, simple frameworks, and practical tools, this session helps Christian women of color business owners clarify who they are called to serve, what makes their voice irreplaceable, and how to communicate their value with confidence and integrity.
They leave with renewed confidence, sharper positioning, and a clearer understanding that branding is not vanity — it is stewardship. And they do not leave with a marketing tactic. They leave with a stronger sense of divine identity, authority, and permission to stand fully in who they were created to be.
First, I want to give honor and full credit to where this recording took place: Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles, CA, founded by the late, great "Man of God" Rev. Frederick K.C. Price (often referred to as Apostle Fred Price). I was the guest speaker at one of their Purpose Driven Women seminars. On a separate note, while I think you will enjoy this 53-minute keynote, I want to apologize ahead of time for the shameless advertising plug (i.e. a logo) that appears when you "click" the play button. It belongs to the company (ezyZIP) who converted the original audio file to an MP4 file so you could listen to it.
