Building on the foundation of the free introductory course, Superhero Confidence: Origins, this next step takes a deeper dive into the rich history of Black/African American superheroes. We’ll explore how these heroes have evolved, challenged stereotypes, and inspired cultural shifts. Through the stories of iconic figures like Black Panther, Storm, and Cyborg, students will see how comics have shaped representation and addressed important social issues.
This course isn’t just about history—it’s about YOU. By analyzing superhero narratives, you’ll discover how storytelling can build resilience, break stigma, and strengthen self-confidence.
