Content

This is the introductory class into Permaculture. Permaculture is a holistic approach to sustainable living and land management that emphasizes working with nature rather than against it. It involves designing agricultural and social systems that mimic the natural ecosystems, aiming for self-sufficiency and minimal environmental impact. Key principles include observing and interacting with the environment, using renewable resources, minimizing waste, and fostering biodiversity. Permaculture promotes practices such as organic gardening, rainwater harvesting, and composting, encouraging communities to create resilient and productive landscapes that support both human needs and ecological health.
