Greetings, I am Akey Ahiem, 74 years old, and the eldest of nine siblings. I was born at home in Albany, GA, with the help of a midwife. I completed my education in the Trenton school system, graduating successfully. Over the years, I have explored various careers, gaining diverse experiences. At the age of forty, I experienced salvation. I received comprehensive biblical education from Philadelphia Bible College, now known as Cairn University. My wife, Jennifer Ahiem, a dedicated nurse, has been my steadfast partner. I am a licensed preacher of the Gospel and a licensed and bonded public insurance adjuster. As a passionate educator, I teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at Metro Public Adjustment Inc. and also provide life skills education. I am blessed with three daughters, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, with a fifth on the way. My fifteen years of service in the juvenile justice system and five years in the adult prison system as a preacher have been deeply fulfilling. Additionally, I have cherished teaching Sunday School for thirty-two years. I have been honored with the title of Man of the Year by the Progressive Baptist Association and received the President’s Award from Metro Public Adjustment Inc., along with numerous other awards and certifications.
