My husband is slowly paying attention to what he eats. Actually being 80% compliant may work. Since slow genes can be developed by poor eating, it is also something you can be born with.

Having a slow gene can become a problem as you age. I have a slow gene I am feeding, and my husband has the same slow gene he is ignoring. I am 70 He is 88.

Blood Type O

Wheat gluten  interferes with insulin efficiency and slows metabolic rate

Corn interferes with insulin efficiency and slows metabolic rate

Kidney, navy beans impair calorie utilization

Cabbage Brussels sprouts and cauliflower inhibit thyroid hormone

Blood Type A

Meat is poorly digested, stored as fat increases digestive toxins

Dairy foods inhibit nutrient metabolism and increases mucus secretions

Kidney beans interfere with digestive enzymes and slow metabolic rate

Lima beans interfere with digestive enzymes and slow metabolic rate

Wheat inhibits insulin efficiency and impairs calorie utilization

Blood Type B

Corn inhibits insulin efficiency and hampers metabolic rate causing hypoglycemia

Then the pain.

The pain was unbearable and scary. My father had sciatica and could not walk past the age of 70 and his mother had sciatica and could not walk past the age of 70, also. Both ended up in nursing homes. My grandmother for 20 years. My father caught pneumonia and died after 2 years.

Realizing that sciatica can be caused from an over burdened colon and finding a friend with a similar story on Facebook, we discovered eating what we needed, and not being hungry was the goal. We believe it is possible to manage excess weight, and feel light. My 80 year old friend lost 115 pounds by following this protocol. My dentist noticed I healed my gums. By using this process he lost over 40 pounds at age 65 and is healing his body too, by eliminating inflammatory foods.

Removing triggers for hunger is also possible. 

Learning about the slow gene that 40% of the population have. Two of my
cousins died before the age of 70. The doctor asked the last one, does
Lou Gehrig’s run in your family? I had taken a carrier test and knew I
have the gene. My other cousins died of MTHFR related conditions like
Parkinsons and Lewy Body Dementia.

So fine tuning foods, can help me keep inflammation down, and helped me get my flexibility back. I can bendover to tie my shoes, and I can turn my head to look for oncoming traffic. My arthritis symptoms have disappeared.

 Here is help for your concerns, questions, and other issues that may arise from fine-tuning what you eat. 

Noticing what people eat, helps understand portion size.  The skinny ones eat a reasonable amount and the heavier ones eat twice as much. I knew the dangers of eating more than you need. I was always hungry eating see food was the problem. I didn't know if I could do this, and having my body complain at every change kept me going. Having succeeded, Lets talk .
