Jeanne Badlato has tutored mathematics for more than 20 years while working in mechanical design. She earned a master’s degree in education to better understand how to help students learn and became certified as a Brain Health Coach.

Her strength in mathematics, analytical approach to problem-solving, and compassion for students who struggle led her to investigate the root causes of the difficulties of many of her students. Because these challenges affect many students, she believes they often stem not from a lack of ability, but from other factors—especially low confidence and fear, which can lead to anxiety.

Determined to find a solution, she studied how the brain responds when anxiety is triggered. She identified simple techniques that can calm the brain and reduce the responses that fuel anxiety. Using these methods, she has helped many students build confidence, improve their grades, and learn math more easily and efficiently. Her approach also focuses on identifying each student’s key trigger.

Ms. Badlato’s mission is to share this knowledge with as many students as possible, helping them overcome math-related fear and anxiety. This can not only help raise their grades and confidence but can also impact their relationship with math for the rest of their lives.
