"Not everyone is aware of this evolution and that it is a shift into more of our light-being identity. What? Well, if you have ever said “I am a spiritual being having a human experience,” this is your opportunity to feel more of your “spiritual being” identity. This, I can only think, is what I was feeling over the holidays and what I feel now. I have been consciously and deliberately working to ease up my adherence to worry and negativity as a steady diet anyway, and here that is, coming in super handy and making this evolutionary shift easier. Funny how alluring worry and negativity are; they’re habitual and feel as familiar and comfy as old jeans and an oversized shirt.

Someone back in the 1990’s spoke about this time in our history as being a time when the split in ideologies and viewpoints and emotional realities would be so far apart we just couldn’t even begin to understand what the hell the other was talking about. And he was oh so right. I saw a clip of him on Facebook talking about this time of insanity.

I believe strongly that we need an experiential bridge right now, to cross from insanity to absolute certainty that what we adhere to as ethical and caring and right are not only worth clinging to but necessary to espouse and live."

Welcome - again! - to The Circle!

I'm one of those odd people who actually likes networking because I like meeting new people, and connecting. I find connecting easy to do. 

But I'm also one of those people who is disenchanted with the transactional nature of networking - the undercurrent of "WILL YOU BUY MY SERVICES????"

The Circle is part of my brand new "Women, Authenticity, and Leadership" Communmity. In any part of The Circle - whether free or paid - you will find that you are approached from a personal perspective, a personal development perspective, and with both great care and great fire! I believe in forward movement and I believe in bringing in the feminine to make it happen particularly for us women.

We can continue the old ways and whip ourselves forward, but that doesn't work for us. Have you noticed? We can invite and allow and open and nurture and also be fiery in our intent to be who we really are, and that is what I want to bring in.

The fire I embrace is one that burns away my old behaviors of any kind of fitting in with the wholly masculinized paradigm. We are parched from the lack of the feminine, from the lack of compassion, people first, allowing and the like. We are just dying of thirst.

And we ourselves are the water we seek.

Killing Us Softly 4 is the 4th movie in her stream of amazing films that Jean Kilbourne released in 2010.

When I watched this movie I was hit by it in a most personal way. 

I knew that Photoshop is used to make models look even more perfect, but I hadn't known that most - if not all - of these faces we see on the ads that I negatively compared myself to are not even real woman but a composite of different types of eyes, nose, mouth, hair...! "So," I thought to myself, "I have been judging myself negatively all of this time in comparison to something that doesn't even EXIST???"

The weight of self-blame eased up so much! 

It has been 14 years since its release and it is still the movie I recommend to women the most. 

This is the film that teaches you, with humor and kindness and truth, just what the sea is that we women swim in. Once you see the paradigm we are in, you can stop feeling that "it's all my fault"...all my fault that I can't measure up, all my fault that I am not as badass as this woman or that woman.

Forget all of that! It's just not true or real. And when you watch this 45-minute documentary, you'll be SUCH a happy woman!

I don't know how many networking events I have been to or how many types, but one thing was always lacking for me: connection. Ongoing connection and emotional intimacy.

Then, in December 2024 I led a five-day Challenge and at the end the women all agreed that what they loved the most was that while growing into greater self-image and empowerment, they had the support of one another in the process and had learned what each other did in their work and where they were in their journey.

This 360 degree perspective on one another, and the trust that had been built up made a huge impact on all of the women. And that, for me, was when the light dawned: I needed to start a Collective that created networking within a community of business-minded women looking to further their work, and their authentic connections with other women also connected to business.

And that is what The Circle is.

Each week is dedicated to a different focus.

Week 1 - Mini Workshop: A video or transformational talk about a specific woman-based focus, and a related exercise to stimulate our growth
Week 2 - What you do, what you love/hate about it, and how will you use all of it for empowerment - a conversational community approach to networking
Week 3 - Speaker and Conversation - outside speakers, inside speakers, from all types of areas: business, personal development, spirituality, you name it!
Week 4 - Community HELP - Group and Breakout Room Conversations

Let this be your place to find the safety to break out of the programming chains of social "shoulds" and the internalized rules you may not even be aware are holding you.

Let yourself be joined on your journey. Women are not meant to travel this path alone - not even introverts. We all need to share this journey as we break from the masculinized forms and systems and thought patterns we know so well we can tend to think they are our own! They're not.
