Why me.

My work rests on a bold claim: hope is a measurable leadership strategy — the resource that decides whether people show up whole in an age of AI, acceleration, and emotional fatigue. My national study, The State of Working America: Thriving in Resilience and Brilliance, has reshaped how organizations understand well-being and the psychological drivers of performance. My twelfth book, Amplify Hope: Lead From Where You Are Standing, names the era that research describes: the Hope Economy. Every week on my podcast, Amplify Hope Today, I put that research to work one conversation at a time.

The foundation was laid at the Disney Institute, where as sales director I learned that service isn't a transaction — it's an elevation of the human experience.

I've spent the twenty-four years since testing that insight inside 2,600 organizations across 55 countries, through 14 LinkedIn Learning courses reaching 400,000 professionals, and as one of Success magazine's Top 25 People Who Will Help You Succeed. This content is delivered in more than 100 languages, so a manager in São Paulo, Seoul, or Silicon Valley hears it in her own tongue.

I serve on the board of the Orlando Health Foundation ($2B Hospital System) and hold an Executive MBA from the University of East London. I am most excited about my two college-educated children, whose unfolding brilliance is the work I'm proudest of.
