He has shared the speaking platform with notable figures such as Earl Nightingale, Jim Rohn, Mark Victor Hansen, Les Brown, Congressman Ed Foreman, John Robbins, Jerry Clark, Brian Holloway, and Alexander Everett, who is known as the “Father of the Human Potential Movement.”
Ross is the author of **The Love-Based Leader** and has contributed to Steven Sieden’s book about Buckminster Fuller, **A Fuller View**. He co-authored **Speaking of Success** alongside Ken Blanchard, Stephen Covey, and Jack Canfield. Additionally, he was the keynote speaker at the world’s first **The Secret** convention held at the Toronto Expo Centre.
Ross created “Get Over Yourself,” an 8-CD personal audio seminar, along with “The People Wheel,” his acclaimed business seminar, and “VisionShape,” a 3-week leadership adventure journey in New Zealand.
James and his wife, Christine, developed the Conscious Couples Relationship Experience to help individuals form more effective and committed romantic relationships. The experience is based on the premise that troubled couples need joy, not work.

Ross was born in Seattle, Washington, in 1950. He grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Southern California in 1972 with a B.S. in Business Administration. A father of six, he and Christine reside in Lake Summerset, Illinois.
