Emelyn Morris-Sayre's love for photography began when she was given her first camera at the age of 8. Her primary interest was landscape and macro images and her work has appeared in prints, greeting cards, canvases and books. She has published numerous design books including a coloring book based on her Virgin Island photos. While pursuing her photography, she worked in the newspaper publishing industry culminating with becoming co-owner publisher of a weekly newspaper in northern Colorado that garnered 13 Colorado Press awards. She recently published her first non-fiction book, "Remarkable Women in History: Stories of Courage, Struggle and Success."
