What you'll learn

In today's world, there is a ton of hatred, bias, and prejudice, and hostility towards Jewish people is at an all time high, since World War II.

This course will show what anti-semitism in and what it is not.  We often react negatively to offensive material, and if we really get upset, cognitive and perceptual blockers prevent clear thought, resulting in an emotional reaction.

Students will learn what the human stress resonse is along with a proprietary system to overcome the human stress response.

Content

This segment establishes expertise and introduces the speaker.

This segment covers what anti-semitism is. Often, Jewish people see things (like gang signs, watermelon) and immediately assume that there is an anti-Semetic trope. This is not the only example. Students will be able to differentiate between hatred and innocence by thinking critically.

This segment covers appropriate reactions to viewing perceived anti-Semitism, while staying safe.

This segment covers what happens to people when they are so upset (or happy) mentally, perceptually and physiologically.

This segment covers how to overcome the human stress response and bypass the blockers that occur. Such blockers include tunnel vision, auditory exclusion and the Zeitraffer effect (things happening in slow motion).

This segment discusses how positive emotions can also produce the same human stress response. There is a limited Q & A session near the end.
