Weekly Mastermind 5.5.26

May 5, 2026 — The fourth TGD Mastermind focused on Orbit Marketing, why traditional funnels can be too linear, and how recurring touchpoints, events, reminders, community, and partnerships keep people engaged long enough to move toward a sale.

Orbit Marketing — a marketing model built around repeated contact, relationship-building, community engagement, and clear next steps from awareness to engagement to buying behavior.

Main Takeaways

  •  Marketing may be more important than the offer because people cannot buy what they never consistently encounter
  •  Traditional funnels are often too linear and assume unlimited leads
  •  Modern buyers drift because attention is fragmented and interest fades without a reason to return
  •  Orbit Marketing creates repeated touchpoints that pull people closer over time
  •  The three major layers of the orbit are outer awareness, middle engagement, and inner buying behavior
  •  Outer orbit includes posts, comments, messages, content, free resources, and social media activity
  •  Middle orbit includes conversations, community events, online events, reminders, and direct engagement
  •  Inner orbit includes one-on-one calls, sales calls, consultations, paid communities, and offers
  •  The center of the orbit is your brand, your core offer, and your highest-proximity offer
  •  Content attracts, but events and outreach pull people closer
  •  Community members strengthen the orbit because they can refer, re-engage, and create more gravity
  •  A weekly free event is one of the highest-leverage tools because it scales conversations and pre-qualifies leads
  •  Do not go from free to free forever — the free thing needs a clear next paid or semi-paid step
  •  Partnerships and combined communities create more reach, more attraction, and more movement
  •  Next week: video marketing, YouTube, short-form content, and the truth about whether online video is worth your time

TimeStamps:

17:12 Why interested people drift and how reminders, events, follow-up, and clear next steps re-engage them

Weekly Mastermind 4.28.26

April 28, 2026 — The third TGD Mastermind focused on LinkedIn as a repeatable lead-generation system, why connections matter more than followers, and how to use events to turn cold outreach into warm conversations.

LinkedIn Lead Generation — how to search, connect, invite, remind, host, offer, follow up, and repeat every week.

Main Takeaways

  •  Sales are downstream from consistent relationship-building
  •  LinkedIn works because it is an active professional networking platform
  •  Most people use LinkedIn passively, but business comes from outbound action
  •  Connections are more powerful than followers because they allow direct messaging
  •  Your first goal is to grow first-degree connections with active LinkedIn users
  •  Do not waste connection requests on people who are not active on the platform
  •  Search by filters LinkedIn actually gives you, especially job title and location
  •  If you cannot reliably find your target market, you may need to rethink the offer or audience
  •  The weekly LinkedIn loop is: search, connect, invite, remind, host, offer, follow up, repeat
  •  Events create a natural “because” for follow-up messages
  •  Liking and commenting are free ways to create visibility and start relationships
  •  Content helps nurture people after they notice you through engagement
  •  Your best KPI is not impressions — it is how many people attend your event each week
  •  Group calls, workshops, masterclasses, and networking events can all create warm sales opportunities
  •  Next week: Orbit-based marketing — moving beyond funnels into network-based growth

Weekly Mastermind 4.21.26

April 21, 2026 — The second TGD Mastermind focused on lead generation, pipeline, and why access to an audience has to come before perfecting an offer.

No Pipeline, No Business — the five stages of a real business pipeline: Source, Attract, Qualify, Warm, and Close.

Main Takeaways

  • More important than your offer is access to an audience
  • Most entrepreneurs build backwards: passion first, offer second, audience last
  • Your business is not your passion — your business is your pipeline
  • A real pipeline has five stages: source, attract, qualify, warm, close
  • Inbound content can work, but outbound action gives you more control
  • Referrals and networking become more powerful when structured as partnerships
  • Online events create repeatable, low-friction interactions at scale
  • LinkedIn works because active users are often salespeople, entrepreneurs, and business owners
  • If your sales process happens on Zoom, your first target market is people who already get on Zoom
  • Next week: how Alex uses LinkedIn manually — filters, search, messaging, and lead generation strategy

April 14, 2026 — The first TGD Mastermind kicked off with eight entrepreneurs sharing offers, wrestling with pricing transparency, and uncovering what turns relationships into real sales.

Offer Creation & Positioning — the six elements of a buyable offer: Name, Deliverables, Timeline, Price, Link to Buy, and Sales Process.

Main Takeaways

  • Confused people don't buy — clarity beats cleverness
  • Every offer needs a name, a price, and a link to buy
  • Intangible services need tangible deliverables
  • Hiding your price creates friction, not protection
  • Relationship-based offers need a crisp bridge to action
  • Over-explaining signals uncertainty
  • Every interaction should end with a clear next step
  • Pricing transparency pre-qualifies and protects your time
  • Fear of rejection is the real pricing bottleneck
  • Next week: lead generation and finding the right audience
